Following the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010, TouchGlobal swiftly responded and has continued to send crisis responders to serve in Haiti ever since. We have established a presence and plan on staying here for a long time, so we thought it wise to set up a blog that family, friends, supporters, and teams can check to find first-hand information about life and ministry at the Haitian Queen (the TouchGlobal Crisis Response headquarters in Gressier, Haiti).

Rome City Team - Brian and Sarah Bennetch

Brian and Sarah Bennetch are long-term ReachGlobal missionaries serving in Rome, Italy. They were some of the first to respond to the need in Haiti after the quake. They served in numerous ways, and their translating abilities were an incredible asset! They have now returned to Rome to continue their ministry there.

What's Up Gundys?

Mike and Linda Gunderson are ReachGlobal missionaries who served for many years in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They now call Minnesota their home base, working with church planters. They came (along with Mike's sister, Barb) to serve and help set up the Haitian Queen.

Rob in Haiti

Rob came and served as the foreman as well as the general go-to fix-it man for the first few weeks at the Haitian Queen.Without him, the teams would be living in the dark, with no water!

All Roads Lead to Rome

Trinity is a full-time ReachGlobal missionary heading to Rome to serve alongside Brian and Sarah Bennetch. She came to Haiti to serve as the "cruise director" and tech support at the Haitian Queen and to help lead Kids Clubs out in the local community.

Clean Water for Haiti

Jeff and his team are currently working to get wells to a number of the TouchGlobal worksites in Haiti. They also brought along a medical team to serve the local Haitians.
